He pointed to the stack that Allen had given him the evening prior, and then stood, the blanket he had falling to the ground. Carnegie had slept in his shorts, but had taken off his shirt, so now, the extent of their eating habits over the last few months showed its course.

“You lost a lot of weight, Buddy.” Santana noticed. “I can’t call you fat ass behind your back anymore.”

He looked down, seeing the stomach and fat around his hips more than half the size before everything changed. He felt lighter, noticing the changes.

“Very nice.” Erin smiled. “Now please, go shower.” She hit him in the head with a folded towel.

He moved toward the door. “Where’s Allen and Cheradyn?”

“You wanna watch them change too?” Santana jested, tossing Carnegie’s blanket back on his bed.

“Serious?” Carnegie smirked, her wit as lightning.

“Topside. They are moving some small stuff down here.” Erin pulled her bedspread, making her bed.

Carnegie nodded, pointing at something on the ground in front of him, before Santana’s bed. “Until I get out the shower, please.”

Santana nodded, Erin pursing her lips.

As Carnegie shut the door to their room, Santana and Erin checked and then concealed two .45 pistols behind their backs.
